Kyle is an entrepreneur who owns a successful construction consulting business offering both project management and litigation support to his clients. After graduating from Texas A&M University with a degree in Construction Science, he joined his dad in managing the family commercial construction business for 15 years, and successfully sold the company in 2013. Kyle volunteers as the President and Chairman of Texans Against High Speed Rail, President of the Leon County Sub-regional Planning Commission, and also serves on the Board of Directors for the Texas Home School Coalition. He currently serves the Leon County Commissioners Court as Special Advisor on HSR.
Kyle and his wife, Christen (also a graduate of Texas A&M University), have been married for 21 years. They both have a passion for helping and serving others. Kyle and Christen chose to move to Leon County almost eight years ago to raise their four children in a safe, rural community with strong, traditional family values. The children are very active in several 4-H projects and participate in the County livestock show. The Workmans are proud to make their home in Leon County and are looking forward to this opportunity to serve.
